At least 2 years experience in a similar retail head office position with ADVANCED Excel Skills ( Excel is not negotiable).
Must be highly motivated and ambitious, very organised with attention to detail. Strong admin skills are necessary for this role.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Report under / over stocked stores to planner with action plan
- Prepare consolidations / direct transfers as necessary and report to all key stakeholders
- Prepare post allocation report and present to planner weekly
- Action post allocations weekly
- Action new item allocations according to grading templates and historical performance
- Action core item allocations according to store needs from inventory listing
- Prepare new store tracker weekly
- Report and manage stock levels in new stores
- Report the stock levels of new stores in weekly Store Ops meeting
- Prepare pre-pack instructions
- GRN’s
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 is required – a related tertiary qualification would be advantageous
- Above average knowledge of excel ( run pivot tables and do vlookups), , retail system and general computer skills
- Good communication skills in order to follow up with stores on queries
- Good people skills in order to deal with other departments
- High attention to detail
- Ability to process accurately and work diligently
- Good time management skills and ability to multitask
- 2 Years previous experience as an allocator for a retailer or in a similar position
- Must be able to work in a high pressure environment
- Good organisational skills
