SITA Internship Programme 2019; SITA offers a n Internship programme targeted at unemployed graduates in the field of Information Technology and other related fields. Applications are invited from interested graduates, who meet the minimum requirements as specified in the advert and are interested in joining SITA as an employer of choice .
SITA stands for – State Information Technology Agency. They support Governments ideals in creating sustainable employment via developing young minds and skills. This, in turn, will alleviate the unemployment rate amongst the youth of South Africa. They are doing their part with an ideal internship, or otherwise known as their youth development program.
This program helps to bridge the gap between education and employment, it strives to give talented individuals greatly required skills, as well as expertise within specific fields. SITA is an equal opportunity institute, targeted at empowering previously disadvantaged and disabled South Africans, to reach their dreams.
The interns are placed within their fields of study, under strict, yet experienced supervision for mentoring. The internship is usually for a period of 12 months unless otherwise stated by the institution. A stipend of approximately R3500 is paid to interns each month.
