Microsoft Internship Program Closing Dates

The closing dates for internships are not available.  It is proposed to frequently visit their web page, as well as keep an eye out for advertisements online, or in print for opening of internships.  The timelines of each internship vary according to location and need.

Microsoft Internship Program Application

Internships online applications processes are made accessible during the year.  There are currently none available for South Africa, however, it is suggested to regularly check on the Microsoft Website and their Student Page for any developments during the year.  Or even to apply for internships in other countries if they are available, and you are interested in traveling.  Please only request internship applications for the countries you are truly interested in.

Once your application has been submitted, you will receive confirmation via e-mail of Microsoft’s receipt.  Please note that they do receive multiple applications, and are not able to contact each and everyone via e-mail on the progress of their application.  If you are selected, they will, however, be in contact, thus if you do not hear anything, please accept your application as being unsuccessful.

Most of the internships offered by Microsoft could lead to full-time employment.  They aim to develop young talent with mentoring, and training in addition to community building, thus contributing to a strong long term career.

Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.  Be sure you attach all applicable certified documentation to your application, in addition to referral letters and a curriculum vitae.  The curriculum vitae should reflect your expertise, competencies along with your skills and interests.

Progress on your application can be viewed on the application page, candidates can simply log in and stay up to date with the entire process.  Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview, this will be the final stage of the process.
