Position: Field Marketing Executive
Terms and conditions:
Area: Cape Town, Western Cape
§ Fixed term contract
§ Salary: R 10 000.00 per month + Fuel card of R 3 000.00 + Commission based on sales of team
The Field Marketing Executive will be primarily responsible for the following deliverables in-store:
Must have experience in the cellular field sales industry
§ Execute marketing and sales programs as and when required;
§ Act as the point person for outside, inside and partner sales teams;
§ Track market and company sales performance;
§ Generate leads and drive sales;
§ Grow brand awareness;
§ Gather and report customer intelligence;
§ Support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback, share best practices and serve as advocate and
information source for company;
§ Attend trade shows and events in order to market products as and when required;
§ Determine product / service value delivered throughout customer operations and effectively communicate value to customers to promote new applications and sales;
§ Improve forecast performance of business;
§ Keep abreast of industry trends, competition and new opportunities;
§ Develop understanding of product line and value chain;
§ Generate weekly report;
§ Perform Assisted Sales Days in order to increase sell out;
§ Build good relationships with store staff and management;
§ Conduct formal and informal product training sessions;
§ Assist with trouble shooting and after sales service issues.
Educational / Skills / Experience:
§ Grade 12 or equivalent;
§ Fluent in English;
§ Good administrative skills;
§ Strong people skills;
§ Field Marketing Executive experience.
Other requirements:
§ Code 8 driver’s license;
§ Reliable motor vehicle;
§ Willing to work on public holidays as and when required;
§ Be responsible for quality of work;
§ Be able to meet scheduled deadlines;
§ Be able to work under pressure;
§ Working days may differ from time to time, as per client’s request.
