The Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone (RBIDZ): Investment Promotions and Facilitation is inviting all applicants to apply for their ongoing 24 months Investment Promotions and Facilitation Graduate / Internship Programme 2022.
The successful candidate will be provided with relevant workplace skills and experience in order to prepare for the job market. The development and training areas will include, but not limited to the below;
- Administrative support
- Provide administrative and secretarial support services to the BDS Managers in general, including but not limited to:
- Responding and registering investor enquiries emanating from telephone calls, referrals, website, walk-ins, business chambers, dtic, etcetera;
- Updating the generated enquiries and leads pipelines;
- Updating investor information on the existing investor-project files both physically and electronically;
- Taking minutes during scheduled meetings and compile reports;
- Coordinate diaries, travel arrangements and arrange Boardroom bookings for investor meetings.
- Investment promotions
- Arrange required information for internal deal-sourcing, screening and due diligence stages;
- Follow up-on enquiries and leads for possible conversion;
- Develop new investor project files with clearly defined project timelines including land applications, Letters of Intents, acknowledgement letters;
- Familiarise with Investor Attraction Policy;
- Familiarise with Investment Promotion and Marketing Strategy;
- Participate at the investment promotion events, exhibitions, conference and Inward Missions
- Investment facilitation
- Familiarise with the DTIC finance support programmes and incentive schemes.
- Familiarise with SEZ Policy guidelines and procedures;
- Facilitating linkages with Developmental Finance Institutions (DFIs);
- Facilitating joint-meetings between Investor/s and Financiers
- Assist with the preparation for the Environmenta
- Review Committee (ERC) and IEC meetings;
- Facilitating Investor site visits.
- Customer Relationship and Support
- Hosting incoming business delegations, drafting invitation letters, developing programmes, co-ordinate logistics, and arrange on-site visits.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Marketing, Business/Office Administration, Project management and Business economics related
- Degree in Marketing, Economics/BCom, Project Management or Business Development Studies. (advantageous)
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Unemployed, no relevant workplace experience needed.
- Must be between ages of 20 and 35.
- Must not have done any internship before.
- Grade 12
